Faust School-Based Counseling Groups
Overview: At Alfred S. Faust Intermediate School, we are so excited to be facilitators for a student-run organization called the Gay-Straight Alliance (G.S.A.) for all LGBTQIAA+ students and allies. The focus of this group is to create a safe space for students to meet, support each other, and talk about shared and personal experiences.

Overview: Our 8th-grade students are looking forward to high school and beyond! Some are even going through a rigorous admissions process as they exercise their right to school choice! These sessions allow our students to take a career-personality assessment that puts them on a pathway of fulfillment and success!

Overview: At Alfred S. Faust Intermediate School, we recognize that overall student achievement is achieved when looking at the whole child. The mental health benefits of meditation include better focus and concentration, improved self-awareness and self-esteem, lower levels of stress and anxiety, and fostering kindness.

Overview: At Alfred S. Faust Intermediate School, we recognize that overal student achievement encompasses social development! Through traditional gaming, this group's members will have the opportunity to not only connect socially with their peers, but they will also be given the opportunity to explicitly learn and practice isolated social skills.
